ITOIGAWA - FIELD TRIPS
In addition to the culinary expedition in Tokyo, the WASHOKU Program offers seasonal field trips to the scenic countryside of Itoigawa on the Japanese sea in Niigata prefecture. You are welcome to enjoy with your family and friends an authentic selection of Japanese culture and lifestyle in the UNESCO Global GeoPark of Itoigawa.
Discover the four seasons with its bounties from the sea and from the mountains. Four field trips
to Itoigawa on weekends, two are included in the six months program and two are optional.
Highlights such as Sake brewery and brewing process, trip with snowmobile, Kaiseki dinner, visit to the Sumo training camp and Sumo lunch.
